I'm often tempted to create Zathras' brother, Mathras, or somesuch, if only for the look of terror in their eyes when he says, of Zathras, "Ah, yes...Zathras...was the quiet one in the family...."

The only work I have ever seen of Tim Choate was in B5, but I enjoyed it. He took what would easily be one of the most annoying characters in the history of television, and made him into an entertaining and even endearing character. I enjoyed his performance.

RIP.

RIP. One of my favorite guest characterizations on any TV show...

Not to be cute or to confuse the character with the actor, but because his performance was so good you can imagine the words being said,

"That is life. Zathras is used to being beast of burden to other people's needs. Very sad life, probably have very sad death. But at least, here is symmetry."

P.S. looking him up on IMDB, he had a very nice career it look like. And the quote is off his official website as linked from IMDB:

I trying to search for B5 discussion threads as I wanted to make a few comments. I just finished watching War Without End, Parts 1 & 2, and, well... wow. And Zathras was in these episodes. I couldn't help but think he's everything Jar Jar wasn't. A much belated RIP.
