I’m taking a beginners Photography class and I have a Canon Ti but I really don't know how to use all the settings I need. I mostly use the camera in AV mode. I'm sure I'll ask other questions in the future but right now, I don't know how to change the exposure. I see where to do it but I don't know how to tell it that I want it one stop more/less. In addition, when you are looking inside the camera is the camera automatically adjusting the exposure or just giving a suggested exposure.

I'm not familiar with the Ti, but I would recommend reading the manual for this info. (If you don't have one, then you can probably download it from Canon's website.)
Good luck!
Good luck!
