Buy.com is selling a 512 MB Kingston SD card for something like $32.95 this week. Sounds like Drew had a bad experience with Kingston though.

I bought a Lexar 512 CF (12x) for my camera, and within a few eeks it is giving me erros and not writing files to disc after a certain point. The RMA process took a week to get a return authorisation. With fall here and a turnaround of a t least a couple of weeks, I have been limping along, but my first experience with this type of media hasn't been very reassuring. I would have to say that if given a choice, I will be buying more, smaller cards, so that if they fail, I at least have backups, and should I lose files, they will be smaller in number.
