Some photos from San Diego vacation...

Well, finally got around to processing and uploading most of my pics from a recent family vacation to San Diego. Still a handful more to go, but the large majority I'd care to upload are on my pbase account now. Haven't gotten around to titling much yet though most pics probably don't warrant any titling. Let me know what you think.

Hmmm... Just realized that w/ so many pics there, I should probably include links to a select handful too, instead of forcing anyone of interest to browse through so many.

So here are direct links to some that I liked myself.

Pretty cool photos, puts the photos I took at the SD Zoo in 1997 to shame. (Then again, I was using disposable film cameras on that trip).

Very nice I was in San Diego a few weeks ago myself...beautiful place to visit.

I haven't got a pbase account yet but I really ought to sign up for one. Anyway here's a few shots that I took in SD Click here with my Canon S1. There's also a few more here

Thanks, guys.

Pat, maybe it's time to go again now that you have a nice new digicam for that. The S1's super zoom will definitely come in handy. You might even want to add a tele converter, especially for the Wild Animal Park -- I haven't uploaded any from there yet. The IS will probably help some also.

Andrew, enjoyed seeing your pics, particularly a few of places I didn't get to visit. Wish I could be there longer (or perhaps w/out the kids ). I guess you didn't go inland much since I didn't see any shots of such. I would've loved to visit the Mission, which is along the way to the Wild Animal Park. Also would've liked to visit Palomar Observatory just beyond the WAP. Tried dropping by Mission Bay and La Jolla one late afternoon, but there was a tremendous fog that afternoon/evening as can be seen in this shot:

Man-Fai Wong you're right we didn't get inland at all...we really only had the weekend to tour so we were on a very tight schedual.

Hi, y'all.

I retouched this one from my previous post. Not 100% sure I like it better although most people probably do like it better. Let me know what you think.

Also, I've reorganized this mini-series from the airport and called it "Variations on a Theme at the Airport".

While I did enjoy shooting at the Zoo and the few other places in San Diego, I think the airport (well, both here and there) had the most interesting opps. Here are the rest of "At the Airport" gallery, if interested.
