Oh, yes, Journeyman. I wrote a fan letter to Kevin Falls, and he responded immediately that what we all surmised is evidently true: we would never have seen the last few episodes if it hadn't been for the strike. He said they're now trying to get the 13 episodes released on DVD. I signed up to be notified when it came out on amazon. I do think that can help show interest in a title.

The Outer Limits (1963-65 series) (preferably with Stefano at the helm, and with Gerd Oswald, Alan Crosland, or Charles Haas directing most of the episodes); Star Trek: TOS (it would be great to see both "Joanna" and any iteration of "Paleface"); Star Trek: ENT (more on the Romulan Wars would have been a nice addition); Dark Angel; Joan of Arcadia; Roswell; and Sliders.

Heroes, Journeyman and Big Bang Theory. The only thing that's keeping me going somewhat is American Gladiators how low we have gone.

Enterprise...cancelled just when it was getting good!!!

Rome...killed WAYYY before it's time, they had so much more they could have done!!!

Deadwood..BEST....SHOW....EVER!!! WTF is up with HBO anyways, killing all the good stuff??? My subscription disapeared with these shows. It's just a regular crappy premium channel now.

Xiaolin Showdown
Teen Titans
Justice League Unlimited
Spy Games
Kim Possible (could easily go over 100 episodes)
Quark
Wizards and Warriors
Enterprise (another 3 years easy)
Pinky, Elmira, and the Brain (I'll take any more new Pinky and the Brain any way I can)

The 4400 .... hard to miss it yet (since the next season wouldn't have been on until the summer), but I really enjoyed this show. I hope USA makes some kind of wrap-up movie. A mini-series would be even better (and make nice "bookends" for the series as a whole).

Re: What's your favorite Cancelled TV shows that you miss?

Hidden Hills

Would buy that on Blu-ray (or even DVD if no Blu-ray) the day it came out!

It looks like Friday Night Lights probably applies.

I'd also like to add Earth 2 to my list. That one had a ton of potential. I own the first (and only) season on DVD, and I watch it fondly, thinking what could have been had it gone on for a few more seasons.

Also add "October Road". I hate the thought of losing these two.

LIFE was one of the few truly intriguing crime scene shows to come around in a while.  Charlie Crews was a very rich character and Damian Lewis played him to perfection.  Sadly, the second season's new characters & story arc could'nt sustain a full 22 episodes where as the first season (due to the WGA strike) was kept tight and mysterious.  LIFE would make for a great series on the USA network, especially since they're puting the finishing toches on MONK.

Thread revival!

Well, recent shows . . . again with the Journeyman, and I'm still missing the Unusuals.  I came to Dead Like Me late, but I wish it was still running.  Fortunately, my prediction about Friday Night Lights above was off, and Chuck got a bit of a reprieve.  So, that's about it for now.

I just watched the two last episodes of Aliens in America on Universal HD (the ones that the CW didn't bother to air after it was cancelled).  A terrific show, not a stinker in the bunch.  Really sorry that they didn't give it a chance.  But YAY to UHD for allowing me to see them in hi-def.

Wonderfalls.  My wife and I quote from the show, and no one ever gets it. :)

Pushing Daisies

One of the most beautiful series I've ever seen.
Life
Brimstone
Reaper

Those come to mind off the top of my head...  I agree with "Life".  What a great show.  I was hoping TNT or USA would have picked it up but it doesn't look like they will.  At least TNT picked up Southland, another one I really liked that was canceled and then picked up!

Firefly
Carnivale

2 shows killed with too many good stories left to tell.

Post #114 and #117 make me laugh, knowing now there is a Human Target with the lead from Keen Eddy.

Anyway, I agree with the above, man do I miss sealab 2021  :(

As Lost nears it's finale, I also really miss "Carnivale" which was LOST before Lost.. but I digress.

Wow, this thread was started in 04?  Seems like every season I am missing a show... usually one or two season wonders.  Here's what pops in my mind over the last several years...

Firefly
Carnivale
Deadwood
Jericho
Enterprise
Rome
and NOWHERE MAN!  Although, that's probably goin back about 15 years!

To a lesser degree....
Journeyman
Invasion

Would have liked The 4400 to have had some kind of wrap up.

Loved Life on Mars...   It went only one season but had a perfect ending.

If you haven't already, you should check out the UK version.

For me, the list is fairly short:
- Defying Gravity
- Eli Stone
- Pushing Daisies
- Reaper

I've long since come to terms with the other canceled shows (which includes Firefly), but those 4 still bother me.

Bring back ALF...I think I laughed out loud every episode.
Please please please bring back one of my top favorite cartoons pirates of dark water, or at least finish it and put it on DVD.  Come on seriously it won't cost that much to do. I will buy the DVD in a heart beat.  It just sucks that I'll never see the end. :-(  It a show that is still awesome, and a cartoon that actually has a plot is very hard to find.

Shows I miss:
Pirates of dark water
Fire Fly

Don't think it's been mentioned yet but I wish Twin Peaks wouldn't have been cancelled. There's so many places that third season could have gone.

I think Lone Gunmen and Millennium could have gone on for a few seasons longer.

...and I know I'm going to miss 24.
