This is the part I really don't understand. Why some county sheriff can essentially vacate a judge's jail sentence and release the criminal after serving a mere fraction of their sentence. Shouldn't a judge have more judicial power than a county sheriff?
Lohan's never going to take any of this seriously if the California judicial system cannot do so. It's really kind of pointless to even keep bringing her in front of a judge if a sentence is never going to be carried out.
