Well, there is an album coming out with her name on it, and it's allegedly music, but who knows if that's really her singing.

I've been following this girl the last couple of weeks, and IMO, she is damaged goods in disguise. She's too young to be so screwed up and from a screwed up family. She's definately cute though.

She could pass for 14 without makeup (from the neck up).

She basically looks like what she would look like if you extrapolated from her appearance in "The Parent Trap" from 1998.

It's amazing what hair and makeup artists can do. Those pictures are down right hideous. Did she just wake up or something? What's up w/ the bags under the eyes?...One of the eyes (her left) actually looks swollen. If she looks like this at age 18, this girl will not age well at all - she'll look 40 when she's 25. But.........

yeah, she looks more like a kid in those photos (probably 15 or 16). The past few years have definitely given her a more "adult" look (especially with the make-up she now wears).

I finally got around to watching her in "Mean Girls" last night and I have to say that I am very smitten. She has this look like she's someone you knew (presonally) as a kid, who grew up and is now a 'bombshell'.

In fact, Lindsay reminds me of my old boss's daughter, who around 10 when she used to come to work with her mom. I knew her for quite a few years before my boss left. Several years went by and I saw my old boss with her daughter. Her daughter is now 16 or 17 and she really grew up. She still had that cute 'baby' face (with the cubby cheeks and freckles), but had developed a more 'adult' body, rahter than the kid body she had when she was younger.

More like someone you knew personally as a kid who grew up and is now a prostitute.



EDIT: before anyone else comes along, reads this statement and tries to make something out of it I didn't mean, here it is. I anticipated others taking enough time to read the original statement, which says "has the look of" to take my statement to also have the same meaning. I have never met miss Lohan and have no idea what she actually is and would never venture to say what she is. There was a time when I thought she seemed pretty impressive, until a piece on her on some show like 60 Minutes. There was nothing undercover about it. They had cameras follow her around for a day or two and my statement above is based on how she dressed and acted during that time. It's my opinion. Nothing more or less.

John, you should watch "Mean Girls" - it's about girls who have this undeserved hatred toward each other and call each other sluts and whores to undermine their sense of self-worth in order to make them feel better about themselves.

Just because it is wrong to say that undeservingly, doesn't mean Lohan doesn't act and look like a self-obsessed, spoiled rotten tramp. There is a critical difference.

I saw a pic of her Drivers License (looks good!) and her Amex Black card! How did she get a black card? I thought you had to be extremely well-off for that e.g. Sam Simon.

Oh yeah, all the info was blurred out except her name, birthdate. I wonder how those got on the net.

I highly doubt she's a prostitute and I highly doubt she is portraying herself as some sort of whore, so I don't see why you would think that?

Sorry John, but it seems that whenever a girl tries to act grown up, the press immediately screams "Slut". I just thought it was funny that this was exactly what the premise behind "Mean Girls" was. The featurettes talk with the author of the book (that the movie was based on) and she discusses why people feel the need to label others as "Sluts" or "Whores", when there is really is no reason for it.

Lohan acts anything but grown up. Though I never even remotely meant to say she is a prostitute, I can see how that might have been interpreted from my first post if someone really wanted to get the impression I was saying that. I said she looks like one, as do many girls her age, unfortunately.

The idea that Lohan acts grown up is rather absurd. Want to see some young female celebs act grown up? Look at Natalie Portman, Alison Lohman, Mandy Moore and even Scarlett Johansson, who supposedly is rather promiscuous, but still manages to behave like an intelligent, mature adult.

I agree that a lot of girls are dressing to look like sluts, but I still think it's unfair to call someone a slut just by the way they dress.

And actually, I don't think Lindsay is acting any more grown up than really she is. Going from 16 to 18 is a major change (especially for women in the public eye) and their transformation is seen through such harsh eyes when it comes to the press.

(I remember reading a few articles in the mid90s about Jennifer Connelly saying the same thing. They basically said she was unable to be faithful and made her look like a compulsive cheater)

My younger brother dated a couple girls in high school and college before he met his current wife. One was a plain Jane, jeans and sweatshirt, little makeup type and the other wore makeup and dressed fashionably / slightly risque. My mother was always complaining about the "slutty" one and wishing that my brother would go back to the "nice girl". What my mother did not know was the "nice girl" was a freakin' nymphomaniac and the "slut" was as virginal as a nun. My brother dated the "slut" for a year and never once "brought home the groceries". Matter of fact, he never even parked in the grocery store lot. He and the "nice girl" spent a few weekends with me and they were doing things even I never heard of (and I came of age in the early 80's)!

Henry, contributors to this thread have basically been discussing different things regarding Lohan, expressing some disagreement and explaining their positions. Threads don't get closed for that. Threads DO get closed when someone comes in and starts accusing other members of being "silly" for expressing their opinions. See the difference?

Ah, different places which may or may not be reliable, which is why I didn't want to substantiate it too much. But yeah, I had the same thought, especially since she clearly has an appreciation of older men. Did you see the video which was on the Girl with a Pearl Earring DVD? YOWZA!

Cheesecake has a long accepted history in pop culture. It's benign and relatively harmless.
You used the word "prostitute."
See the difference?
