Bob:
How did you like your Theta? I've heard very nice things about its sonics.

Thanks.

Wow, it seems like B&K, Anthem, Rotel, and Aragon are the most popular units here. Aragon is most surprising to me, since I've never known anyone (until now) to own one of them fine units. I have:

Parsound C2
Parasound A51
Parasound A21

I agree about being surprised regarding the number of Aragon owners here. Very nice unit, but, like you Nicholas, I went with the Parasound C2 instead.

Lexicon MC-12b Pre/Pro
McIntosh MC206 Power Amp (all 6 5.1 channels)
Hafler XL480 (l&r back channels)
Boston Acoustic A400 (l&r mains)
BA A200 (front center)
BA A60II (surroung & back channels)
RTR DAC-1 passive subwoofer

and scads of input devices

With all the talk of room equalization in the forum, I thought I ought to mention that I just upgraded the Lex to Vs 4. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! I have never heard my room sound so good. It definitely justifies the new price (if you're coming in cold).

I've mostly got my system complete:

B&K Ref 50
PS Audio HCA-2

Main Speakers: Silverline Audio SR-15
Rear Speakers: Dynaudio Audience 40
(no center, no sub)

I'll be getting another HCA-2 to drive the rear channels (they're currently not powered). I'm only running a 4 channel system and I'm very satisfied with it. Maybe one day after I have a plasma/lcd display I'll get the matching center channel, but the system sounds great without one. I live in an apartment, so a big sub would be out of the question, and I seem to get enough bass as it is down to 50Hz or so.

Upgraditis hits hard and fast. Upgraded from my Rotel RSP-1066 to an Anthem AVM-20 early in the month after having the Rotel for less than a month.

So, updated:

Anthem AVM-20
Rotel RMB-1075
