Rachael: I don't know why I even ask because I know it's gonna be wicked outstanding but, how's
Master Of Disaster (which I understand is the first multi-channel 24-track Sonoma Workstation DSD rock recording)? Looooves me some John Hiatt.

| Last year, I had the chance to purchase a brand-new Sony Mastersound CD of this album (sealed longbox and all) when I found it in the bargain bin of my local Borders for $7.99....and for some unknown reason, I didn't get it. Now that this title is no longer available on SACD from even Sony, I figure I'd better get it. |
Danny: Even if I didn't have s.q. issues with the MasterSound SBM gold CD of
Indigo Girls, both last year and now at this point I think I'd rather have the SA-CD of all those titles that Sony released on SA-CD that they had also released on SBM gold.
Although not entirely reliable when it comes to titles for which there are multiple releases, Amazon Marketplace still has ("pre-owned") listings for the
Never Too Much SA-CD.

So I haven't totally started biting my nails on getting copies of all those early Sony single layer titles I want (
Top Gun . . . Gratitude . . . Footloose . . .).
Perhaps foolishly, I'm kinda waiting for Blu-ray to hit shelves to see if there is gonna be a last minute inclusion of DSD in the spec. At which point we might see Sony supplant SA-CD with hi rez aud on Blu-ray . . . ?
