The Phantom of the Opera gets a great showcase on Blu-ray with this performance at the Royal Albert Hall last October, in honor of its 25th anniversary. Like last year’s Blu-ray of Les...
After scoring as an international sensation and winning six 2011 Emmy Awards, Downton Abbey became last season’s most buzzed about new show (curiously, the first season won no major prizes in...
Winning the Best Narrative Feature prize at the SXSW Film Festival and being called “the next Woody Allen” must be heady stuff indeed for young filmmaker Lena Dunham. In Tiny Furniture, she...
When one hears the phrase “Japanese samurai movie,” naturally one’s thoughts immediately go to Akira Kurosawa who directed some of the finest ones ever made. But Hideo Gosha’s Three Outlaw...
You’ve got to be a little bit suspicious when a movie you’ve never heard of featuring well known stars above and below the title makes an appearance on home video. Such a movie is Bart...
No imagination. And not a particularly interesting expression on Pacino's face even. Apparently it is similar to the original marketing, but still, come on!
I don't have the computer skills to scan the image, but if anyone goes to www.tvshowsondvd.com today, they will have the special treat of seeing the cover for Britney Spears' poorly-received reality show. If the makers of the DVD are looking for an intimate, badly-done Photoshop feel for the cover, they've succeeded.

Even for a DTV cheapquel, the characters aren't done justice to. The villains look like fan art, Abu looks like he's only a head and the layout sucks.
This is the UK cover for The Rescuers Down Under, which is a slightly edited version of the early 90s video cover art. Only know, it looks as though Barbie painted the sky, and a lot of the clip art has been misplaced, with a rope appearing out of nowhere and Jake not holding on.
Fan art alert! A 10 year old's fan art alert!
Now this is just being silly. It looks a poorly made Photoshop forum banner.
This just looks like another poorly made Photoshop banner. Characters look misplaced on the bottom half of the cover. And those eyes?
Erm...let's just say that it isn't in to the Top 10 cover arts list.
Get the glasses off that horse. And don't get me started on the mouse.
Poopy layout again, and looks like a bad photoshop banner, which is extremely disappointing considering this is a 2 disc DVD set from a major studio.
I am so tired of the big heads on dvd covers.......... I wish the studio's would freaking wise up and use some of the posters that were used to promote the movie and not make up new ones for the dvd's..........ugggggg
Yeah, I'm a little troubled by the Deer Hunter DVD. My 2 tape VHS has the best art. Then I bought the old DVD disc a long time ago and it has the deer head silouhette thing, which is ugly and lazy. This new one looks like it was made with a Xerox machine and some scissors.
Looks like Universal Australia's art department had problems with Photoshop when designing the cover for Friday Night Lights...
Looks like MS Paint strikes again...
