Loved the first two but the third movie was quite possibly, one of the most dissapointing movies Iv ever seen! However, I will be purchasing this boxed set.

Haven't bought either of the sequels in anticipation of the boxset-any more rumblings as to when it might surface?

I'd probably put my money on next year sometime (what with Star Wars this fall), but possibly in time for Christmas.

I find it interesting how the DVD commercial keeps emphasizing "complete the trilogy" instead of quotes or any remarks of the quality of the film.

I really do wish they would remaster the first movie though.

I think it was silly that they played up the "philosophy" of the films. Yeah, its there, but then when you beat people over the head with the fact that its there, after you scrutinize it, you realize that there isn't as much as they play it up to be.
I only own the Animatrix so far because I've been expecting a box set all along. Its hard to justify waiting for so many years, but I'm glad that its finally coming!

I find it to be just the opposite. Especially with taking a philosophy class this semester, I keep finding more and more interesting stuff in the films that I never saw before.

YMMV I guess.
