The 1976 Series Swiss Family Robinson, along with the surfing documentary Billabong Odyssey. The latter is an XMAS Gift for a Neighbor's Kid, who likes these kind of movies.

The last dvd I got was a gift for Christmas. It is a concert of the rocketts. It is really cool. I like going to the outdoor theater to concerts with friends.

Last tv dvd that I bought was season 10 of Stargate SG-1 ( I now have the complete set ).

Last movie dvd that I bought was Blu-ray version of Speed.  Which is also the first Blu-ray movie I bought.  I needed a movie to test out my new blu-ray player, and I had never re-bought that movie (have it on VHS but that isn't going to look very good on a HD TV.

I hope Paramount hasn't lost interest in Family Ties - they haven't announced further seasons and they usually arrived three months apart. I want to complete the collection (7 seasons, right?). I also just picked up the final Married...With Children even though I swore to myself I wouldn't go past season 7. Its tough being a completist, isn't it?

There's only 2 more seasons of Family Ties, so I'm thinking we'll get them both next year.

My latest purchase was:

Eureka season 3.0 (Love it--although I wish they hadn't done it as a half-season. 8 episodes seems kind of skimpy for a boxed set.)

If Courteney Cox's new ABC series is a hit, that might speed things up a bit. I imagine a complete series set is not out of the question.

I forgot Courtney Cox is in Family Ties - now I really want to see the remaining seasons. Can someone give me a quick rundown of how the series ends? I've heard rumors Meredith Baxter "dies" toward the end

I think music rights are the main reason why CBS is taking it's sweet time on the last two seasons. Aside from the use of "New York New York" in the series finale, didn't Alex Keaton sing a Gershwin tune in one episode? Maybe that could be the hold-up.

Nothing could be further from the truth. Trust me, there are no dead bodies. Alex gets a job at a New York brokerage in the final episode.

An Auto Dealer was giving away some "Golden Dollars" so I went and got some. Then I BEELINED over to Wally World and "Relieved" them of Seasons 2 and 3 of Law & Order.

(They didn't have Season one, so I'll take care of that later!)

Definitely not the way I would want to add to my collection. But... My mother just passed away this past week ... and she wanted me to have her DVD collection. along with about 30 or 40 movies there was...

Xena: Seasons 1-6
Hercules: Seasons 1-2

As well as some classic Red Skelton episodes.

My Condolences to you Pete. I've "Willed" my collection to my Nieces, after I  assume room temperature the two of them will flip a coin to determine who gets first pick, then they will take turns claiming titles until the entire set has been divided among them.
