Davey & Goliath Vol 1 - 4.  A dollar each at the Dollar Tree.  Religiously, it's too late for me I'm hell bound...  :(  but I used to love this when I was 5 years old.  Don't see why that love would change.  :D

Just picked up 30 Rock, Season 3.  Also picked up In Plain Site season 1 and Psyche 1 & 2.

Don't know why I buy all this stuff.  I have many un-watched TV series DVDs that I had to have.

Incredible Hulk 1-5
Star Trek (original) 1-3
Monk 1-6
X-Files Collection 1-9 ( I think 9 season)
Millennium 1-3
The Office 1-4

Definately not enough hours in the day to watch these great shows.

I don't know about anyone else but I have entirely given up on watching TV these days and just wait for the eventual DVDs to come along. There's something really special about being able to watch a show from start to finish (at your own leisure) without having to put up with endless commercials, silly pop-up blurbs/annoying logos and such. I've recently enjoyed Heroes Season 3, Sarah Connor Cronicles Season 2 and Battlestar Galactica. It's kind of like telling the studios: "Screw this, I'm watching this show when I feel like it!"  Ha!

I get what you mean, Luis. My TV watching has seriously decreased over the past few years, mostly due to my DVD collection's uninterrupted growth. I figure that as long as I have DVDs to watch, I have no time to waste in front of stupid commercials. If a show I want to check out but do not want to make a blind buy on is on TV, I make sure to watch at least a couple of episodes just to see if I deem it worthy of a purchase or not. Other than that, I watch reruns of DREAM ON, THE NANNY, WHO'S THE BOSS? and other shows that are not entirely available on DVD. As far as movies are concerned, TURNER CLASSIC MOVIES is about the only channel I still watch occasionally.

I know how you feel Luisito 34 and whisperintherain. I had seen the overall quality of Commercial TV (Both Broadcast and Cable/Satellite) deteriorate in recent years, with the proliferation of cheaply-produced "Non Scripted" Shows and the ever-increasing amount of Commercials tossed at us viewers. IMO "The Last Straw" occured a little over three years ago when I saw a Commercial for an "Adult Product" aired during a Children's Show! Cancelling my Subscription, I began collecting DVDs, and I haven't looked back. It is so nice to be able to watch a Program or Movie on one own's schedule, without some huckster obnoxiously hawking something I have absolutly NO interest in purchasing. Best of all, after watching a DVD YOU GET TO KEEP IT! Right now I waiting for my latest Check to clear the bank, which should be later this week. After that I'll be prepping for the Holidays, so LOOK OUT!

Dark Shadows: The Vampire Curse (1967-68) and Dark Shadows: the Haunting of Collinwood (1968-69)
The former is about how Barnabas becomes a vampire, the latter is about the ghost.of Quentin preying on the Collins children.
Both are new  edits of the programs most popular and fondly remembered storylines streamlined into three-hour epics.
Both are highly recommended and excellent low-cost introductions to the original series
If you don't know the program and are curious about it this is the place to start.

I bought season 5 of Mary Tyler Moore today.  It is probably my favourite 1970's sitcom.  I am a little disappointed with the packaging.  There is no listing of the episodes anywhere except on the actual menus when you play the discs.  In other words, in order to choose an episode, you have to first load a disc and then decide whether the episode you want to watch is actually on that disc.  Compared to the season 1 set which was really 'deluxe' in design and bonus features, this one is really bare bones.  Regardless, I am happy to have it, as I was concerned Fox had stopped releasing it after season 4.  Hopefully we won't have to wait another 4 years for the next season, bare-bones though it may be.
