Quote:
Dave, (re:Combat) yes they are sped up a little. I don't know why they couldn't use a pitchshifter to bring the voices down to normal. I also don't know why they couldn't show the correct versions as they are shown on Action and Good Life.

From reading the Combatfan group on Yahoo, it's my understanding that nearly all the episodes shown on Goodlife are time compressed.

Most recently added to my TV on DVD collection:

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - Season 5

All that remains now is Season 7, as well as the Season 4 bonus disc, and the whole kit 'n' kaboodle is mine.

Trying to watch the budget carefully, but I finally broke down and bought season two of Six Feet Under from Amazon.

Had only seen a few episodes towards the end of season two and fell in love with the show. Bought season one, and have been watching ever since. Just have that gap of about 10 episodes from season two that I've never seen, so really looking forward to receiving this.

Hm... I don't think I could handle that. Whenever there's a show coming to DVD, I stop watching it on TV.

Heck, I've stopped watching TV alltogether once I experienced the joy of tv-on-dvd.

Let's just hope HBO gets the next set out a bit sooner. I couldn't stand the wait between seaon 1 and seaon 2. What was that? Year and a half? Way too long.

I totally agree. HBO has to learn that there is more to their library than Sex in the City and the Sopranos. They took forever to announce The Wire and then proceeded to constantly delay the release date, I'm surprised that they actually unofficially announced a tentative release window for Carnival and Deadwood.
