Rachael, of course. It was on The Last Puff. Which I don't have. I have the acclaimed Spooky Two, and a best of, which includes the very interesting I am the Walrus cover.

I received Edgar Winter Group's Shock Treatment album at the tender age of 9 years old in 1976. Although, streams of pop, due to Dan Hartman's influence, I fell in love with his(Edgar's) tracks and soon discovered White Trash, that showcased the voice that is Jerry LaCroix. Chills man, got the chills.

My Vol. 2

1. Spooky Tooth- Evil Woman
2. Wishbone Ash- Sometime World
3. Captain Beyond- Frozen Over
4. Jefferson Airplane-Eskimo Blue Day
5. Edgar Winter Group- Do Like Me
6. The Electric Prunes- I Had too Much to Dream
7. Derringer- Sweet Evil (from the underrated album)
8. Nazareth- Changin' Times
9. Spirit- When I Touch You
10. Weather Report- Teen Town
11. Deep Purple- Maybe I'm a Leo
12. Guess Who- Share the Land
13. The Beach Boys- That's Not Me
14. Marvin Gaye- What's Happening Brother
15. Edgar Winter's White Trash- Good Morning Music
16. The Blues Magoos- Gotta Get Away
17. James Brown- Mother Popcorn Pt. 1
18. Uriah Heep- Traveller in Time
19. Earth Wind and Fire- That's the Way of the World
20. Ten Years After- I'd Love to Change the World

Roadwork is still, to this day, the best live album ever. My opinion, of course. Nothing comes close.

Zen, I was at an Edgar Winter Group cconcert and an albino dude was sitting about 3 or 4 rows back of me. About 20 minutes into the show Edgar spotted him and just lost concentration, stoped, and walked right down the centre isle and went to talk with whitey. He invited the dude backstage post show and they were gabbing for about 2 minutes. Then Edgar retook the stage and apologized and they restarted the deceased tune.

Somebody 'round hare, thanks, alerted me to the Beastie Boys instrumental album of R&B and jazzy stuff, Groove Holmes. I listened to samples and finally I like the Beastie Boys, some. Here's my new HTF Vol Too:

theted, that is about the most pretentious list I have ever seen. Read Rolling Stone much? Joshing thethe,
love, 139, 135, 101, and 81 the most.

Rachael, hot damn! that is a fine list. AWB? fuggeddaboutit, love that whole vibe. Rickie Lee Jones? I love her.
On Saturday Afternoon in 1963 would be on my Vol. 3,
maybe even The Last Chance Texaco along with more Electric Prunes, Wishbone, some Thin Lizzy, Tom Waits and Bowie.

Who knew how fun this would be?

27. 10,000 Maniacs - Eat For Two
Criminally overlooked song, overshadowed by the lesser "Trouble Me."

Angelo, how 'bout Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting by Elton or Monday Bluesong by Mark-Almond or Tuesday Heartbreak by Stevie Wonder? Living For The Weekend...who did that...I'm not currently rememberin'! Ruby Tuesday by the Stones or Nazareth's cover...

Zen, I developed a taste for Rickie Lee Jones when I worked at the Village Gate in New York, in the early 80's. She played there a few times. I also adore the Average White Band and I saw them a few times too. Katch me before I have to testify!
