The Italian Job, Alfie & Zulu

For as long as I can remember, I've been looking for a widescreen version of "The Italian Job" on home video.

Now, according to the UK's "Total DVD" magazine, DVDs of the Michael Caine movies "The Italian Job", "Alfie" & "Zulu" are all in preparation for release in 2002.

Apparently, Sir Michael is also being asked to contribute to the extras.

Looks promising.

Alfie is already out here in good old Region 1. There are several cheap versions of Zulu floating around, at least one widescreen, but nothing that beats Criterion's LD. The Italian Job isn't anywhere over here and would be a very welcome release.
