I'm looking for a smaller flat panel for the bedroom. The new JVC 26in LCD panel looks pretty darn good. I was wondering what the rest of you think. I'm open to other brands as well. I'm looking for a HD ready set with everything needed for the future of tv broadcasts. Thanks.

Re: JVC LCD Panel
hithe last time I looked at a JVC was about 1 year ago, it was a prototype LCD panel. It did not look good. Very unlike their LCOS FP units.
It is also hard to say about less then 26-28" units as the smaller displays are sometimes made from a different division of a company.

Re: JVC LCD Panel
Westinghouse makes a decent small LCD panel. I've used one (a 32") in the bedroom for 3 years and have been pretty pleased with it.

Hey Ed...glad you asked. Couldn't get the audio to come out of the surround sound system...only coming out through the TV speaker. Surround speaker cables route back to the amplifier where TV audio feedback back to as well...all cable jacks terminate at the back of the back panel.
Yesterday evening, playing with remote for the amp, hit I believe the DAP button which turned on surround system. Not sure what I did but sound is now coming out of the remote speakers.
