do it yourself screen question

Hi All

I am working on building a projector screen. I have purchased some blackout cloth. Im not sure what side to use for the screen. One side is kind of a smooth rubbery type material, the other side has more of a fabric feel to it.

Any help would be great

I used the textured side, it wasn't as shinny. I also painted my screen, figuring the paint would adhere better to that side.

Peace Out~

Can you get blackout cloth at home depot? And do they cut it for you?

LaMarcus, the best place for blackout fabric is a fabric store. I believe all Home Depot has is a kind of canvas material.

Ah. Neil where the hell is 43 degrees north and 79 degrees west? I've always wanted to ask you that.

What type of fabric do you recommend?

Blackout cloth that was mentioned....make a frame...stretch it and staple it...look at the following for some good info

If it were exactly at 43°N/79°W, it would be right on Grand Island.

Maybe Neil will give us the minutes and seconds, and then we'll have a map straight to his house.
