Paragon popper power buy

Maybe when Adam sees that a bunch of people are interested in getting Paragon poppers, maybe we can get another power buy started.
I didn't get a popper the 1st time around.
I'm not sure if Adam frequents this forum though.

I'm going to email Adam directly and ask him when another power buy can begin.

I was hoping to get a popper sometime in December.
I guess I'll wait until the next power buy.
My finger is itching but I'll be patient.

Hey pcdoctor,

We are looking into scheduling another PowerBuy for April (which is the same
time of year we did it last time). We may be able to bump it up to March,
but I think Jan and Feb will still be a "recovery" period for us (as well as
Paragon). Last year, we did the PowerBuy in April and Paragon still had some
supply problems. I'm inclined to think that those supply issues were not a
direct result of the previous holiday season, but I wouldn¹t want to cut it
much closer. My reluctance is based on the headaches that I had last year
with a lot of orders being delayed by Paragon because of their shortages.

If you would like, I can designate you as the "town crier" when new info
becomes available.

Sincerely,
Adam

Also, feel free to post this reply.

Glenise,

I recently have started using avs forums, thanks to you
but I noticed that you are writing to adam and pcdoctor aren't those people from avs. I think you made this post on the wrong forum..LOL

This is a cool thread. I'll have one of these someday. Need to get more friends first to justify the expense. :b Right now, I just chuck a bag in the microwave and that does me for my viewing.

Ed,

On the AvsForum I'm known as pcdoctor.
I posted the message from Adam on both forums to share the love. I didn't get a popper during the last power buy and just wanted to share with this forum also. You never know. They may be such a large response because of both forums. As a result, we may get a very good price with more buyers.

Glenise,

Oh I just thought you lost it for a second ...lol

I appreciate that you are trying to get powerbuy.I want to get a popcorn machine soon.

I have to get it cheap because I just bought one of these for my lobby http://www.vintagevending.com/produc...D=3228&CID=76.

I didn't buy it there, I found one that needs to be restored . I collect and restore gumball/candy machines So I thought this machine would kind of tie the two rooms together. Kind of like a lobby

Vintage Vending is about 5 miles from me, they sell some of the parts but I am thinking about having them restore it for me, I usually restore the smaller ones (like the one you have).

Let me know whta happens with this power buy.

Thanks
ED

Ed,

I have Vintage Vending listed in my favorites.
I just loved their modified Gold Medal poppers.
Especially the popcorn stands.
If money was no object, I'd get one of these.
Of course I'd have to have a retro or traditional theater for these to really work.

Vintage Vending does wonderful work. They constructed the ticket booth for my theater and did a great job. I've eyed their poppers for some time and, when I finish out the family/rec room, I'll probably pick one up.

Greg,

Hey neighbor (well kind of)

Please tell me you didn't pay all that money for your ticket booth. Don't get me wrong, I do think the do an awesome job. I was in there the other day they told me they are looking for picture's of peoples rooms for their website.

I am actually trying to find a vintage coin-op popper but to no avail if you find one in our area please let me know. Also if you find a popper similar to the ones at vintage vending I would be willing to help you restore it.

Ed
