How good is it, or better said is it worth a buy? TIA.

The world at war picture quality?

If you are interested in WWII, then buy it. It's great. The picture quality is, naturally, variable, as it contains actual black and white 16 and 35mm war footage that is often better than expected. The 'modern' footage, shot in the late 60s and early 70s seems to have been shot on 16mm or video, it's hard to tell, but it too is good. The sound is a lot better than I expected.
The new 30th Anniversary Edition available only in Britain is beautifully and solidly packaged: http://www.bensons-world.co.uk/dvd/p...0000079332.asp
I'm not sure how the US edition fares, but this site has the lowest price: http://www.esearchnshop.com/test/det...d=026359924620
A must for Historians of all levels.
