I just wrapped a review of Channel Classics' phenomenal SACD of Bach's Christmas Oratorio for the December issue (should be out in late November). Hi-res, multi-channel music fans should check this one out. Wow!
And although I received AIX Records' "Surrounded By Christmas" too late to make the Dec. issue, it is, as usual, a fantastic holiday treat as well! I don't believe I've heard an AIX disc that hasn't floored me.
I highly recommend both titles as stocking stuffers for your loved one (and that includes yourself!).
