Tosh 57HX83 question

I have had my Tosh 57hx83 for about a week, and although I feel comfortable that I have everything connected the best way possible, I was wondering if there is any way to get my set to show me what type of signal it is displaying.

ex: when playing ESPN 2K4 football for Xbox...how do I know it is displaying the 720p signal it boasts on the back cover?

I read through the manual and I am getting the impression that it is upconverting my signal to 1080i....but I thought at least there was an info screen or something that would tell me for sure...

Anyone able to help?
