While I didn't order a DVD, rather a CD, I figure somebody here has ordered Anime or what not from Amazon Japan.
For a while now I've been looking for a rather hard to find single CD by the Foo Fighters. Because it originated from Japan, I figured to check Amazon.co.jp. Sure enough they had it in stock, or so they said. With may Alta Vista translation program, I translated it into 'Dispatched in 24 hours'. So I ordered it.

When I check my account info, the item is still under the 'Open Orders' box, yet the status is Shipping Soon. It's been like this since Sunday. Also, I can't cancel the order, so I can only assume it's being processed for shipping.
Also the item has gone from reading will Dispatch in 2-3 weeks, to 2 business days.
I wonder then if anyone else has had problems with products shipping from Amazon Japan. Or is it just because my item is rare, they may be having difficulty obtaining it?
