free issue or 1 yr sub for dvd etc?

from the main front HTF page is a link to get a free issue of dvd etc mag, but when you go there it says free 1 year sub.
but when i click the link it resends me back to the same page which i believe is the shopping cart, over and over.

is this something that anyone else has seen?

I saw this too, but it asks for an Authorization code that isn't provided. I think it's just a gimmick, but I don't get why they would even do it at all?

It's a 1 year free sub to the online magazine, I believe. I get the mag when I go thru the link (requires flipbook plugin) but I have the same problems you do, it keeps tossing back to the 'pick a subscription' when you go to check out from the basket. Very annoying.

Here is what it says on the sign up page:

The link is still an endless loop. Any hope that this will be fixed soon? I emailed John Klippel two days ago and have received no responce.

Hey guys, sorry about the frustrations with the online magazine. It's not a gimmick and we haven't been igoring you. We have all been at CEDIA (Custom Installation trade show) these first weeks of September. I'll get with John right away and see if he can help you out--he handles all the web goodies.
