Does anyone have a photo of Susan Eisenberg, who voices WW on Cartoon Net's Justice League? I like what her voice does for the character, and who knows--maybe she looks the part in real life, too!

She does a great job as the voice of Diana, but she surely does not look like Diana.

Casting Charisma Carpenter as WW would be the most ill-conceived casting choice since Halle Berry was given the role of Storm.

Just go with an unknown who actually looks and can act the part. No wrestlers, volleyball players, or professional models, either. Get an actual actress.

That's going to be a pretty tall order (pun definitely intended here ). I still think it would end up being a relative unknown that gets the part; after all, when Lynda Carter got the role for the TV series in 1976 she was pretty much unknown in the acting community. It was an extraordinary stroke of luck that Carter got the role because her looks fairly matched closely what the comic book artists at DC Comics envisioned her at the time.

So no love for Krista Allen? She turns 32 in April, but looks to keep herself in good shape. She does have that whole "Emmanuelle" line of films in her past through. But photogenically speaking, she looks pretty good. She's not as tall as I'd like for this role, but she's listed at 5'7.5".

C'mon, it's not like Krista's Emmanuelle films were hardcore porn or anything. I'd be more ashamed of having been in "Days of Our Lives"

I have a huge celeb crush on her, but I don't think she's right for the role. She'd be my #1 choice for Rogue, if she was being written at the same age she is in the comics.

To me, WW is a woman in her mid-30s, not a 20-something. She has an air of authority that only comes with age. I envision her very much the way I envision Storm: A slihghtly older member of the team, and one who'd be leading the team if it wasn't for the two members with seniority: Batman and Superman in the JLA, and Cyclops and Jean Grey in X-Men.

When X-Men was being cast, I kept hoping Angela Basset would get the part. For WW, the best I can do in terms of suggesting an actress is this: Find the white Angela Basset. If you can find someone who projects her "presence", you're golden.

Sigh....

So far, the best candidate for Wonder Woman mentioned in this thread so far has been the guy who runs JLANIMATED.COM...

Maybe it's changed since the old days, but last I knew, Storm was 2nd in command to Cyclops.

In the current treatment, it seems to be Green Lantern who calls the shots most often. Batman has even excused himself as an "official" member.

Thanks for the photo, Rob! You're right--Susan doesn't look the part. Sure is cute, though; definitely not disappointed!

Rob, Peter, just goes to show how far I've been away from comics My post was informed by some of the last comics I've read, which include X-Men 70 (in which Storm and Wolverine take over the team after Scott and Jean go on sabbatical, and GL 80-something, where Superman had only recently acquired his "electric" persona, and Kyle made a comment about how he looked up to his teammates... Except Bats, who scared him sh**less

How about Jolene Blalock from Enterprise? You guys think she could do it?
Nope. Far too skinny.
Yeah, you are probably right.
and too short. Isn't she about 5'3"?
I didn't know she was that short. I certainly wouldn't call her too skinny, at least not in the first couple seasons of Enterprise I saw. She has quite the figure.
Actually, I was mistaken, she is 5'7" tall.
I think that she has too much of a Barbie (read: fake or enhanced) figure to pull WW off.

McKenzie Westmore of "Passions" would probably be my pic.

Sure, she's blonde (possible she helps it a bit), but a wig or some hair dye and BING, you've got Wonder Woman for sure. Chek out her website:

Check out the photo gallery. There are even a couple pics in there where she does resemble Lynda Carter a bit to my surprise.

Hint: Check out her Mexico Vacation photos for a nice bikini-clad body shot, and her Health and Fitness photos to see her working out!

JonZ, who is that absolutely delicious woman in your tagline?

She'd make a perfect Wonder Woman!

After everybody catches their breath, they may want to check Mckenzie's Halloween pics out.

She's dressed in Uma's Track Suit from Kill Bill, only showing a little more cleavage.

Not bad... she'd be a shoe-in for Power Girl.

But Wonder Woman? I pick Sonia Aquino!

Minnie Driver said she'd like to do it.

Ex-Buffy stars Sarah Michelle Gellar and Charisma Carpenter are allegedly competing for the lead role in forthcoming superhero movie Wonder Woman according to online celebrity zine Teen Hollywood.

The pair, who played Buffy Summers and Cordelia Chase respectively in the hit show, are battling for the iconic role after their former boss Joss Whedon agreed to direct the movie remake of the 70s television show says British tabloid The Daily Record.

An insider told the paper "Joss has told the studio that Sarah is his first choice followed by Charisma. Sarah expressed an interest, but the producers are more interested in Charisma because she is less well known."

I take that with a grain of salt
