Best Buy South Park bonus - Page 2

That's good to know that I can get the bonus disc at the actual store. It's not going to be a limited thing is it? I was gonna ask for it for my birthday which is early July, so I don't have to worry about them running out of the bonus disc will I?

Also, I've read everyone saying that the picutre and audio of Season 1 is REALLY BAD. But I thought it was just fine. Just as good as any episode when aired on Comedy Central. Looks and sounds perfect to me.

And, I'm glad to see that that one documentary will be included in Season 2. My friend has one of the earlier DVDs that has this documentary on it, glad to see it included here.

Some of those bonus disc packages run out quickly, others stay around for months. I don't think anyone can guarantee that this will be around in July...better have the buyer get it now and store it until the happy day!

I depends. If it's handled like Star Trek and just a limited issue shrinkwrapped to the case, it will run out quickly. If it's like Xena and Best Buy has a whole different package with an extra disc inside, it will last for quite a while.

The package is normal, with the bonus disc shrunkwrapped to the case. It is in a regular size sleeve and looks hand drawn. Pretty nice looking too.
I saw these come in at work today and was looking to see how it was packaged. So it is instore as well.

Can anyone help me out? Except for the Cartman bonus disc at Best Buy I have all these episodes on the original Rhino Season 2 release, correct?

Nope, you do not have the last six episodes of season two. You're just gonna have to buy the set all over again.

[rant]An employee at BB told me yesterday that they only got in *15* sets of this with the bonus disc! If you want it, better get them to hold it for you or else get there early![/rant] I hope he didn't know what he was talking about, or miscounted or something, because this will be a catastrophe if true at all locations!!!

Yeah screw the bonus disc, I don't feel like driving an hour plus paying $7 more then Target to find out that the bonus discs are gone.

I preordered this from Best Buy's site on Friday. Still hasn't shipped but hopefully I will get the bonus disc, if not it's going right back to them and I will find one in the 2 Best Buys near me. The only reason I preordered it in the first place is becuase I thought it was going to be online only.

The guy was wrong after all. They had something like 70 copies with the bonus disc. And they quickly matched Target's $29.99 price with no hassle, other than filling out my name/address on a form real quick. It was at the service counter, but for once there was noone in line there, whereas the actual registers were miles-deep with lunchtime Tuesday crowds. So I actually got out of there quicker than normal!

Sorry for the false alarm, but better safe than sorry. My "good employee" who works there says the other guy must have been hallucinating.

I got mine at Best Buy in store and they price matched it to the Target price. None of the Target discs had the bonus disc in it. I had pre-ordered it online, but when it didn't come Wednesday, I went ahead and bought it. I'll either return the mailorder disc when it comes or keep it and sell it on eBay in about two years.
