The HTF Eating Accomplishments Thread

Two requirements:
1. You actually ate that much food
2. No cunning linguist stories.

Well, my metabolism has finally slowed down, and I find myself eating less and less food and exercising a hell of a lot more than I used to.

But man, this past weekend, my friends and I reminisced about the good old days when we ate like mountains and kings. Here are some of my accomplishments (or plain feats of stupidity depending on your view ).

High School, sophomore 95-96
- I ate a whole large Stuffed Crust Pizza.

High School, senior 97-97
- A Wendy's Triple (double the meat) and an order of nuggets.

College, Senior year 01-02
- The Montgomery Inn in Cincy is the best damn place to get ribs. I ate an entire sampler appetizer platter (meatballs, shrimp, small round tomatoes, crab cakes), a salad (using their BBQ sauce as dressing), a full rack of ribs, and 3/4 of a baked potato.

It's 4:12 in the morning, and I'm starving.

I'm amazed that I'm five eleven and weigh only 210 pounds.

okay here it goes:

2 - large Pizza Hut pizza's

Wendy's Grand Slam 4 patties + biggie frosty and chicken nuggets.

A&W Animal burger (a double teen burger with 5 extra patties) an order of onion rings a large milkshake.

12 hot dogs with buns and fixings
Montgomery Inn definitly has the best ribs.
I'm 5'11 and weight 220, I'm so my girlfriend and my family are calling me fat boy. I used to really be into body building, but just don't have the time to hit the gym anymore. So my stomach is stinking out further than my chest. NOT GOOD.

I honestly can't remember big eating binges. But I do remember big drinking binges. For instance I remember drinking 72 ounces of beer, a pint of hennesey (out the bottle), and then a couple of drinks of this other stuff, in like 2 and a half hours.

In college, forced by manager to leave Sizzler after my 8th plate of all-you-can eat shrimp. (w 10 oz steak, salad, potato, etc)

Weight at the time: 185 lbs (6ft tall)
How the hell do they tell you to leave, and it's all you can eat.?
25 pieces of pizza at a buffet (eating contest)

12 pack of beer in one hour (on a dare, not recommended)
164oz of water in 2 hours on a dare.

If I have known then that I could have died from 2 much water I probably wouldn't have.

Thats funny, proably beause I've been there.

Brent , I think I heard that before. It still strikes me as strange that you can die from drinking too much water.

9 lbs of prime rib, on all-you-can-eat Tuesday, back in 1998. I still hold the restaurant's all-time record. I was 23 at the time. I was 6'0", 180 back then.
Buffalo NY 1978 at Uncle John's, all you can eat pancakes, I ate 18 of those thick and chewy things.
Erik... 9 *pounds* of prime rib? Man, I love beef... but that's just crazy!

Hmmm. I'm in the same boat as Dome. Slowed metabolism... don't eat like I used to, but have to work out WAY more. Grrr.

Let's see. This is all high school/college era...

4 Arby's Beef 'N Cheddar sandwiches, large fries, large iced tea, and then finished off my buddies sandwich he couldn't finish.

Entire large pizzas. Far too often.

Triple Wendy's burgers, with fries AND a baked potato AND a large drink. (I had a triple again last week... first time in ages. I felt like I couldn't MOVE. Maximum is now a double.)

14 good-sized pieces of fish at a regular Tuesday-night all-you-can-eat fish 'n chips place. And they didn't kick me out.

Side note: Anyone who kicks a patron out for eating too much at an "all you can eat" promotion needs to have their head examined. AND I'd be lodging complaints. Yeesh.

It happens. My cousin once got shut-off at the local AYCE chinese buffet.

Jeez.. that's just ridiculous.

Man... I just re-read my own list.

.. I'm amazed I made it out of the 80's without a heart attack... or at least high cholesterol. Kinda glad I can't each that much anymore!

You guys are cracking me up. Keep'em comin!

I thought I had some good stories (until I read this thread)

This might not be in the same category, but remember McDonalds Shamrock Shakes? Those NASTY, thick Green Mint things...Since they only used to carry them for a week (around St. Pat's Day) a friend of mine wanted to see how many he could drink during the short time it was available. By the end of the week and his 24th Large Shamrock shake, he was puking bright green vomit.

I remember him yelling "I'm SO Sick! But it's SO pretty!"

Two Jack in the Box Ultimate Cheese Burgers and a large order of curly fry's. That was back in high-school.

Freshman year of college; 21 shots of Tequilla in an hour and fifteen minutes. Didn't puke

Impressive. Just say the word "tequila" and most of my friends involuntarily gag.

LOL. Man I love this thread!

Piece of cake. trust me, do a 12 pack of beer in an hour and you will puke. Your stomach can't handle that much volume.

LaMarcus,

I don't know if this thread is making me hungry or nauseous

Just one piece? or the whole cake?

When I think of 21 shots of Te-Kill-Ya, I vote for "nauseous".

I remember those! Do they still do 'em? I haven't had a McDonalds shake in years. (I only do shakes at one local joint here... best in town. Peter's Drive-In.)

Okay.. that's TWO votes for "nauseous".

The best part is, they are now called Milkshakes because they are actually putting milk in them

I don't know if they still make the Shamrock ones, but back when my friend was drinking them, they were just called "shakes"...Like the Simpsons episode where they are talking about McDonalds:

Wiggum: do they have Krusty partially gelatinated non-dairy gum-based beverages?
Lou: Mm-hm. They call 'em, "shakes."
Eddie: Huh, shakes. You don't know what you're gettin'
In high school I ate a Dozen Dunkin Donuts and a gallon of milk in one sitting (probably like 45 minutes).

Puked really hard 10 minutes later.
Wow....this really brings back some "good-old-days" memories of eating like a garburator and not getting fat. Unlike today where I gain weight watching other people eat.

So, my tons-o-fun story is the following heart-stopping list from McDonalds:

2 Big Macs
3 Cheeseburgers
6 Chicken Nuggets
Large Fries
Large Coke
Large Chocolate Shake
Hot Fudge Sundae (with nuts)

I had to laugh when the clerk asked if I wanted a receipt for this (She assumed that it was for several people). I had people coming into the lunchroom just to witness my exhibition of eating! Wierd how at the time I was a very muscular 6'0" 210lbs guy. Now I am really overwieght (go figure!) and cannot eat very much at all in one sitting.

The mysteries of the human body!

Whelp.. that does it. No donuts for me today.

That's THREE votes for "nauseous" from me.

Hey Scott... I forgot... I used to do the following now and then...

20-pack of McNuggets
BigMac
LargeFry
LargeOrangeDrink
Sunday.

Allow me to regurgitate....

Man... can't believe I used to do that. *AND* not gain weight!

A friend of mine did do 12 beers in an hour without getting sick. He invented the "30 second power hour", which is a shot of beer every 30 seconds. It's a branch off of the usual "power hour" which is a shot of beer every minute for an hour, which I can do. And srangely, after doing a power hour, you want keep drinking beer out of a shot glass.

And as far as food is concerned, I've eaten 2 full racks of baby back ribs at a lil place called Rib Rack this past summer. I wish I could find a place that has all you can eat ribs. I'm 6'1'' 150 lbs.
Used to be my regular McDonald's meal:

Big Mac
Filet o Fish
9 Piece McChicken Anuses
Large Fries
Large Coke
Sundae..

During college:

75 medium sized buffalo wings...(MAJOR ringburn that night), along with onion rings and 3 or 4 pints of beer.

6 1/2 full size rack's of baby back ribs at Beefsteak Charlie's all-you-can-eat night.
I ate an entire large 18" pepperoni pizza all by myself on several occasions in university.

On a note of total stupidity though, I once drank an entire 750ml (26oz) bottle of Crown Royal Whiskey in less than 4 hours. I was 5'8" and ~145lbs. Lets just say that after passing out HARD, vomiting a few times come morning and being hungover for a week, I learned my lesson.
First time I had Krispy Kremes: 18 original glazed within a couple of hours. Polished off 6 more the next morning, for a total of 24 within an 18 hour period.

That's all I've got, though. Closest I can come on the food is the nearly 2 racks of babyback ribs I had the other night, along with a large plate of fries. Everyone else (who barely finished half a rack each) sat amazed at how much I managed to eat. And I stopped when I started to feel full. Could have polished off another rack had it been a contest.

But that's nothing compared to the stories here! Next time my wife tells me I eat too much, I'm sending her to this thread..

BTW, I'm 5'7", 140lbs. Fairly short and skinny. I generally eat twice as much as most during any given meal - and still finish first. I'm just a hungry guy, what can I say...

I will second that Peter's has the best shakes ever. Also I had a triple cheesburger with 3 extra patties there plus onion rings and a shake.

As far as alcohol goes in a 5 hour stretch 40 shots of Tequila, 3 margaritas, and 20 bottles of beer.

In 2 hours 200 oz of beer.

A 13oz bottle of Jack Daniels in under 30 sec.

I did not puke after any of these either.

for anyone that doesn't know 7"1' 350lbs
