It's official -- Peter Jackson's next film: King Kong - Page 28

I've seen a lot of posts about the need to go to the bathroom for long movies, but I've never had a problem with such a need, including the LOTR films. As for the notion that a long film is "boring", it sounds suspiciously like an aversion to drawn out characterizations, lingering scenes, and extended dialogue. In other words, a preference for quicker edits and more "movie candy" in general.

Damnit, Jack! I didn't get a chance to pounce on Michael yet. I've been away from the computer since yesterday!

Anyway, like MOST people here, I am very excited to see the film and - oh my god - so is my wife. And she's a female! Wait a sec - I thought girls weren't allowed to like this sort of thing. Oh yeah - a few women co-wrote and produced the film. Yep, that's right.

Sorry in advance for being a bit of a wise-ass. Just in that kind of mood I guess.

Cheers,

Jason

Doesn't sound too bad if you gave it a 9.5

Very well written review. Do you have the urge to see it again any time soon? I know PJs films can be exhausting on many levels (in a good way), but all of the LOTRs had the most effect on me the second viewing for some reason. It's just so much to take in at once.
