Oddly, Amazon and other major e-tailers don't seem to be selling it.

They never do. With the exception of Lagaan and Mission Kashmir (which were Columbia releases), Bollywood films are not carried by mainstream retailers. My favorite retailers for Bollywood are India Weekly and Nehaflix.

Yeah, those are great stores. I also recently ordered "Devdas: SE" from CanadaFlix, and was delighted with the service.

By all indications, this isn't out yet. (No listing in DVD Profiler, for instance.) Anyone know what the deal is?

Bollywood films (except for the ones bought by larger studios) don't normally make the major retailers. But, as mentioned, India Weekly and Nehaflix are excellent places to order them from, some of the best DVD retailers out there.

Plus, the prices of Bollywood DVDs are terrific as well. Many under $6.

And the theatrical to DVD window is a lot shorter. I saw the Bollywood film THE HERO two weeks ago in a theatre, it is on DVD next week.
