When programming remotes, it is important to think how the user will operate the system. Things like length of macros, or how many button presses needed to get picture and sound were very important. With this device, you don't need to worry about these things, or at least not as much.
Adding RF control opens up so many options. You can install equipment out of sight, such a closet or even another room. You can also control your equipment throughout your home!
The biggest reason to purchase this device is remote reliability. You know that when you press a button, it will work! Great device. If you can afford it, would recommend it's big brother, MRF-350.
