Improved IDSC Pro maintains all the benefits of IDSC Pro, then adds the ability to accept 720p HDTV signals. The TV will convert all 720p signals to 1080i before display. Designed to optimize poor NTSC signals from antenna or cable, CableClear DNR - a new video noise reduction system - eliminates video noise ("snow") for a clean crisp image. SRS WOW - the combination of three signal-processing circuits creates a wide three-dimensional sound field from two speakers (SRS 3D), boosts bass frequency perception (TruBass), and raises the sound image vertically to create clearer, more vivid audio (FOCUS). QuickConnect - an on-screen set-up guide - automatically appears the first time a set is powered up, or it may be accessed through the regular OSD menu. QuickConnect acts as set-up wizard, helping consumers with connection of an antenna or cable box as well as performing initial channel scan, picture preference and other set-up features.
