Pros: Solid performances by Foster and Gibson
Cons: Script lacks, almost no extras, story isn't very satisfying

It's hard to know what to say about "The Beaver". Billed by quite a few people as a chance for Mel Gibson to come back and show he still knows how to act, the film however lacks a script that really brings the audience in. The plot never seems to grab it's sea legs and just isn't sure of whether or not it wants to be a dark comedy or a comment on the state of mental health. But after a while, I found myself checking my watch far more often to really pass on a recommend.
