Cons: generic action movie wastes an excellent premise and good action stars
Put together some personalities from the worlds of professional wrestling and mixed martial arts, concoct a potentially intriguing action scenario, and then load it down with generic fights and gunplay, and you’ve got the makings of Adamo Cultraro’s Tactical Force. The pity with this film is that it had the definite makings of something far, far greater than its ultimate result. Had a better writer been turned loose on the script with some much more inventive solutions to the problems the protagonists are facing (and had the director not taken so many shortcuts to avoid dealing with situations which were otherwise impossible), the movie could have been something more than a standard action movie rip-off of every S.W.A.T.-themed film made in the last twenty years.
