this receiver was and still is the biggest headache i have ever had

 

it occasionaly loses signal when switching between hdmi 1,2 and 3 which can last 24 hours sometimes

adjusting  the volume also causes you to lose signal

the video dims up and down

 

the only fix that sony tech support was to hold down the power button to clear the system or unplug it

which work for a while

 

i was given the second replacement system and it worked good for about 3 months

and now it loses signal again  it started to dim again  and now i cant run my ps3 through it it shrinks the screen to about half the size

 

everything works fine when hooked right to the tv

 

the only reason i bought this unit was the hdmi

i only run my hd tv reciver and my ps3 both on hdmi and nothing else and it cant even do that right

 

dont even get me started about my bravia that i bought the same day

Man it's nice being able to run all audio/video thru this receiver and all via HDMI cables. I'm very impressed with the tuning options, it gives the user lots of control over the sound. I run an active setup in my vehicle and this is very similar to that by being able to dial in the time alignment, xover frequencies, output level, etc. Very happy with this purchase.
