Based on David Auburn’s Tony and Pulitzer award-winning play, Proof tells the story of Catherine (Gwyneth Paltrow), a brilliant young woman dealing with the death of her equally brilliant yet schizophrenic mathematician father Robert (Anthony Hopkins) after caring for him while putting her life on hold, and the possibility of being diagnosed with the same disease herself. The film re-unites Paltrow with her Shakespeare In Love director John Madden.
