Pros: Superb blacks. Great picture. Sufficient inputs.
Cons: Uneven solid colors
I'm not one to review a TV. I read all the reviews I could and concluded that the Pioneer Kuro Plasma line was the best consumer HDTV available. When the 50" Kuro 5020fd went on clearance (unknowing to us, the foreshadowing of Pioneer's exiting the plasma market) I bought one. It seemed that I got the single best TV value available for years.

I'm satsified with the TV. It has a minimialist design that I like a lot. It has sufficient inputs for my uses. My Harmony One controls it fine. And DVD, OTA HD and Xbox 360 look great!

I think uniform colors (covering the entire screen) are not as even as I'd like. I need to investigate further.

Very attractive TV with fantastic appearance. Pity you can't buy them anymore.
