I have owned these for two years now and they sound great, I need a new Receiver or Amp to truely get how these will sound, I am just powereing them with a 9 year old Sony AVR. 110 watts per channel.

Also using a crappy sony sub. But looking to get a paradigm sub as well as a center channel speaker and some surrounds.

Pros: Absolutely breath-taking clarity. Very clean mids and highs, very detailed and articulate bass response. Imaging is second to none.
Cons: Delicate, but most nice stuff is.

The Paradigm monitor 11 speakers are everything I could imagine and more.  I wanted a speaker that could virtually play anything and sound amazing.  I think I've come as close as I can get without spending twice the money on the studio series and a new amp.

The frequency response is ridiculously flat and very smooth.  The quality of voice reproduction is insane.  The highs do not bug my ears and cause fatigue after lengthy loud listening sessions.  The bass response is realistic and tight.  They're best when paired with a sub.  But they can deliver quite impressively on their own down to the low 30’s Hz.

The imaging is second to none as well as the off axis response.  When I'm listening to 2 ch stereo reproductions the sounds are right where they should be.  The speaker is also not affected by intermodulation distortion as are most when introducing multiple bass drivers.  This speaker is unbeatable in its price range for sure, but better yet it can play side by side speakers more than twice the cost.
