Pros: Picture Qal., input choices, historically very reliable
Cons: Slow switching between HDMI sources

OK I'm biased, I bought my first Panasonic radio in 1967, at about the same time my parents bought a Panasonic B&W portable TV, back when TV's still used vacuum tubes. That TV lasted for 25 years and never needed a tube. The secret was the tubes stayed on as long as the TV was plugged in. Since then I've bought many Panasonic car & home, audio & video, while they are not McIntosh Laboratories (of Binghamton, NY), they make about the best value you'll find in that price range. Considering Panasonic makes the plasma displays for many of the other companies, that should tell you something.
