Pros: Black level, color, price
Cons: Only 2 HDMI inputs
I've always been a Panasonic person. The quality and durability of their products has been second to none, and that trend continues with this set. This is my first HDTV and I've been extremely pleased with the performance. Based on research I had done the 720P sets were a bargain buy compared to their 1080P counterparts. Most people can't tell the difference until you get to the >50" sets, so armed with this knowledge I determined that this Panny was most deserving of my money. On the showroom floor there was only 1 set that bested this in terms of PQ, a Pioneer costing >$1,000 than the Panasonic. It was a fine picture for sure, but not $1,000 better. I couldn't be more pleased (well I could if they had only given me a couple more HDMI inputs). The set is used to view HDTV, SD-DVD, Blu-Ray and XBOX360 games.
