Pros: Bang for the buck, vivid color and great connections
Cons: Alittle deep, but no worries!

I can't say enough good things about Misti's DLP's. Everytime one of my friends talks about getting into HDTV bigscreens, I tell them to go for bang-for-the-buck and invest in a DLP. The screen is huge, the color is great, HDMI connections abound and IF your bulb goes out, you can bring it back to life with a replacement. The only con is, you can't exactly wall mount it - but nothing a snazzy piece of HD furniture can't fix.
I also own a 42 Olevia LCD, and the Mitsi puts off 50% less heat than the LCD - games come to life and looks just as good, if not better and the set allows for HDMI switching and coax audio output to your receiver if need be. As crazy as it sounds, if I had the money to spend again, I would go bigger on the DLP.
Highly recommend.

Pros: Big 60" - 1080 picture for low cost
Cons: 14" thick may be too thick for those wanting a flatscreen

I have had this TV for over 7 months and it is great. But then again, the only other TV I have to compare it to was my old 27" RCA CRT. Anyway it has not given me anything to complain about either. Watching 1080 HD from Dish network is clearer and brighter than my 720 projector in my theater. Makes me want to upgrade. The 14" thick is OK with me because it is housed in an entertainment center with bookcases on each side. I would recommend this to anyone considering a big screen for a lower price.
