This is the first digital projector that I have seen that equals my expierience with CRT front projectors. The black levels, contrast ratio and brightness has equaled or surpassed what any of my CRT's were capable of doing. I almost jumped on the DLP wagon, but the rainbow effect and headaches it gave me after a couple of hour of use easily steered me away, and the 3 chip DLP which would solve my rainbow effect issues are out of my price rannge. This three chip DILS from JVC was my best solution, CRT quality in a digital projector and down to earth price.
