Pros: Thunderous bass down to 22 Hz. Rugged construction, good quality build. Never bottoms out or distorts even at maximum level.
Cons: Amplifier could be a little more efficient.

I love this sub especially for the money. It's critical to have a good sub (especially for LFE in movies)that can really deliver those tones that you feel even more than you hear. This sub competes with others twice the price. Most subs less than $700 bottom out easily and don't give you that body shaking low note while maintaining tight intonation. It provides a good range of notes. Unlike other subs in it's price range it doesn't just have one or two low notes that sound the same no matter what you are watching or listening to.
I definitely recommend JBL subs for the audio enthusiast who isn't ready to spend as much on their sub as their HD flat screens. They're good quality subs that deliver, yet don't cost a fortune.
