Cerwin Vega! VE-12 12" 3-Way Tower Speaker Reviews
Cons: Availability in a store. Most have to order from the company or other reseller.
These speakers are amazing. The sound they make sounds better the louder you push them. Very heavy solid wood construction. Great price for speakers that could fill a medium sized night-club! Also sound very clear at low volumes. Highly recommended! A great value for a speaker that has a great warranty also. The company has been making loudspeakers for nearly 50 years!
Cons: Bass overwhelms highs somewhat.tee hee
Cerwins ROCK,and mine are OLD ...a testament to their durability. The red soft poly has faded to a pinkish, but there's no sign of dryrot, remains soft.Speakers are solid still. My tweets shutoff on screechy heavy metal if i push too hard.I figure it's a safety measure.Cool with me,i'd hate to blow my 4'' domes.

Level controlls for mids and high came with speakers. The newer RS-15's are 4-way,and identical except lack the level knobs...and the newer RS box is a cheaper design.
Have fun,i've heard those 12's you got,not bad,not bad at all. ![]()
Cons: made in China
I am NOT rich like a lot of people her, so needed to look on the cheaper side for speakers. Cerwin Vega seemed like a good choice. They have had a good reputation for many years. Sound much better than the MTX AAL 12" I replaced and far better than the Sony 12" I owned and blew long ago. I am a firm believer in large speakers sound better than the "surround sound in a box" deals. Sure they are not overpriced, high dollar speakers, but for the price they sound good. I will be getting the CTX line speakers from Cerwin Vega when I do find the money. I LIKE CV.
