Pros: Nice audio and video transfer, decent set of extras

Battle Beyond The Stars was Roger Corman’s answer to Star Wars, an enjoyable sendup of Akira Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai and Saturday matinee science fiction epics. The film features a cast of notable character actors, including Robert Vaughn, George Peppard, and John Saxon, and helped to launch the careers of James Cameron and James Horner. Now available.
