I bought this as a blind buy because it had so many accolades from people on  DVD forums. I have not been disappointed in the least since receiving it. This is the "eye candy" BluRay was designed for: The uniqueness of the world's cultures is represented by examples culled from 24 countries. The use of time lapse photography is very similar to another release from this source: "Chronos", but this release has even better resolution using similar very large format film cameras. This disk and "Planet Earth" are recommended as demonstration disks for the HD format.
