Pros: Superb video transfer to BD from 70mm film/1080p Video/DTS-HD Master Audio
Cons: none
Cons: none
I bought this as a blind buy because it had so many accolades from people on DVD forums. I have not been disappointed in the least since receiving it. This is the "eye candy" BluRay was designed for: The uniqueness of the world's cultures is represented by examples culled from 24 countries. The use of time lapse photography is very similar to another release from this source: "Chronos", but this release has even better resolution using similar very large format film cameras. This disk and "Planet Earth" are recommended as demonstration disks for the HD format.

Absolutely sensational and breathtaking images from the four corners of our planet, a magnificent and powerful soundtrack and no narrative.
