Pros: Great cinematography, solid telling of the story, good looking video
Cons: No extras, and for those that aren't into Russian Literature, may be like Ambien

Anton Chekhov is one of those Russian writers you either love or hate. But the presentation of The Duel is a faithful adaption of his 1891 Novella and manages to realize all of the characters while making the transition to english language. Effectively played with great costume work and solid cinematography, for fans of Chekhov's work, this is a title that they will snap right up.
