Pros: Sharp, intense satire of the American judicial system; good picture and sound
Cons: Missing most extras from the DVD
Cons: Missing most extras from the DVD
In …And Justice For All, Al Pacino gives an emotionally intense performance as a principled but disillusioned defense attorney forced to defend a judge he hates (John Forsythe) for rape. Co-starring Jack Warden, Christine Lahti, Jeffrey Tambor, Craig T. Nelson, and Lee Strasberg, this sharp satire of the legal system earned Pacino his fifth Oscar nomination in 1979. While its Blu-Ray debut sports a good transfer and its sound remixed in DTS-HD MA, it loses several extras that were on the DVD.
