Pros: Brilliantly funny and expertly scripted modern classic comedy; a wealth of informative extras
Cons: Picture and sound reveal the limitations of the film's source material (more of a draw than an outright con)

A sexually repressed British barrister (John Cleese). A sexy American jewel thief (Jamie Lee Curtis). A psychotic self-proclaimed genius (Kevin Kline). A stuttering animal lover (Michael Palin). A hilarious and skillfully plotted modern comedy classic that deftly combines caper, farce, and romance, A Fish Called Wanda has held up beautifully after more than two decades. It splashes onto Blu-Ray with a treasure chest full of extras but only average picture and sound quality, which has more to do with the film's relatively low budget than any wrongdoing on MGM's part.
