I really like the way all the threads in a particular category (eg. Blu-ray and UHD) are now bundled together but can be filtered by using the 'Prefixes'. What's the name for this system and is it unique to XenForo?

Brent,

It's just called Prefixes and is a native XenForo feature, though we are expanding it using an add-on called Prefix Essentials.

Just today, I've gotten emails from subscribed threads, but the text of the post is no longer contained in the email. This function was invaluable for usage on-the-go, when logging into the forum can be problematic. By being able to read the post in an email, it can let the receiver know how important that post is. For all we know it could be a simple "I agree" post, or it could be a deep an explorative post on the subject.

When travelling, you don't always have access to the web, but emails often make their way to your phone/tablet. Please consider reinstating the email texts. Thanks

Have the number or RECENT REPLIES (formerly RECENT POSTS) been truncated? Usually once a day, at least, I could find an interesting "new" thread to explore because it seemed that there was so much more recent activity listed. Is there any way to list more than five RECENT REPLIES? Thanks.

Harry,

We're just in the middle of setting this up. Long term members will get this feature.

I'm sorry, what page are you referring to? I'll be happy to take a look.

Sorry for not being more clear...I have the TV on DVD and Blu Ray page bookmarked so tend to think of it as the home page :)

http://www.hometheaterforum.com/forums/tv-on-dvd-and-blu-ray.74/

On the right side of that page, there are 5 recent replies...Seems like there were a lot more than 5 before the face lift and I miss that.

Thanks for responding.
For the record, it used to be 10 recent replies that were listed. I do also find that feature useful.

CHEERS! :)

With the new profile, how can I find posts I have recently commented on (not ones that I am necessarily following)? I found that feature to be very useful. Thanks.

Alan: Hover your cursor over your UserID in the upper right-hand corner of any HTF page. You'll see--in the dropdown menu--"YOUR CONTENT." That should do it for you!
